"A new kit for a small café. This kit features a cornice covered with stamped metal shapes to make it look more impressive. This was a feature done before the turn of the century (1880's) by several metal manufacturers including the famous Mesker Brothers Iron Works. After WW2, it became favorable to remove such decorative trim in favor of a more trim, modern look. Too bad! Over the years this trim started to sag and peel away from the wooden framework keeping it in place. That is one of the special features of this kit.
