"This idea came to me years ago when I was living in Demorest, Georgia. The town where the Great Train Robbery was filmed in the late 1950's by Walt Disney. In the next town, home of the Tallulah Falls Railroad, Cornelia, GA there was a broom factory. The Witches Broom Factory. Yes, that is not a joke! I remember seeing their trucks on the highway emblazoned with their logo of a witch riding a broom delivering brooms to Atlanta and below.
This model was developed as an article for the O Scale 2026 Annual and both Frenchman River Model Works and myself thought this to be a perfect model for those not interested in building it from scratch. The factory is built as a weathered one that has been repurposed over the years and shows its age. The patterns of this kit were built as such making it easier for the builder with a few kits under their belt to accomplish a beautiful miniature." -Thomas Yorke
