This model depicts a wooden 32’ Combination Fishing Boat. This is equally at home as a gill net, purse seiner,
or long line fishing boat. The prototype was designed and built in the mid 1950’s
and has been a long standing popular design ever since. These small, versatile fishing boats could be
handled by a crew of 1 or 2. With its handsome, classic lines, it would make a
great addition to any harbor or water scene on your layout as it provides tons
of opportunity to display an action packed scene.
The blueprints for this boat were acquired
through the H.C. Hanson Naval Architect Collection, Whatcom Museum of History
and Art, Bellingham, Washington.
