HO 1:87 Scale Downtown Basement Entrance
designed by James and Anna Cleveland
Frenchman River Model Works
Basement entrances are typically found in the old downtown section as an entrance to either a business or apartments located in the basement. Our kit depicts stairs descending into a stone lined entrance with a door. Highly detailed and perfect for any number of scene applications from a speakeasy, dance club, apartments, tattoo parlor or we've even seen a model railroad club meeting in a basement of a downtown brick building. The door has a window in it making this an ideal opportunity for an interior scene with lighting. This kit comes complete with injection molded pipe railing sections and signs.
This kit is designed to work with any brick, wood, block or other building set on any traditional scenery material. Simply cut a hole in the foam or other scenery base and set this painted and assembled kit into it for instant depth to your street scene. Signs are included for live music, tattoo parlor, antiques, fallout shelter and model railroad club meeting.
Choose left or right hand entrance.
As you're looking at the building from the street, the left hand kit has the stairs descending to the left and the door on the left hand side. The right hand kit has the stairs descending to the right and the door on the right side.
