HO 1:87 Scale 45’ Harbor Tug

This tug was designed and built for the US Army Transportation Corps in the early 1950's. It was diesel powered and small enough to maneuver around crowded, busy ports. This detailed kit includes resin castings, Britannia metal detail parts, rope, anchor, chain, and tire bumpers (now cast resin). Completed kit measures 6¼".

45' Harbor Tug

The kit comes in two pieces with the pilot house, and hull. Both of the pieces are perfect resin casting with no flaws, and some surprising detail the don't show in pictures, with the deck plates and cleats. Then has a bag of white metal accessories and details which are also cast well. The hull has an pass thru opening under the pilothouse to allow for LED lighting. Very nice kit, and it's correct in its HO 1/87 scaling. I'm very pleased with it.
