HO 1:87 Scale Small Wooden Captain’s Cabin

Typical of a medium sized wood stucture used as sleeping accomodations for the live aboard barge captain. These cabins were also cramped and sparse usually including a small bunk and small table and chair and many also contained a small wood stove. Many captains also brought their wife and children to live aboard with them.

Our kit contains one piece cast resin cabin with Grandt Line windows and door castings and laser cut clear window glazing.

We suggest using this cabin with either the Kit #161 Wooden Deck Scow or the Kit #141 or #142 Steel Deck Scow along with large wooden bulkheads and a "load" blank
